Polly Wells (Director/Producer)

I made my first documentary at 21 and have since contributed to 100+ factual programs for U.S. and Canadian television. The inspiration for my two films about group singing was Winds of the People, a charming, homespun songbook given to me by a family that loved to sing together. I still have that book.

Candida Paltiel (Producer/Writer)

I am a Toronto based filmmaker, producing work for major Canadian and international broadcast media networks. For five years I was the artistic director of the environmental film festival Planet in Focus. My interest is in stories about individuals, communities,  and landscapes in the midst of transformation.
